Description
Our first of 3 demo team JETs this year is a real banger!
We acquired a rudder from a former Blue Angels A-4F Skyhawk last year, and we are chuffed to bring it to you in Air Drops (and JETs) form. This rudder was originally discovered at a scrap/boneyard. It was painted in Blue Angel Blue and had remnants of the original yellow tail number: 6, the Opposing Solo.
The Blue Angels operated the A-4F Skyhawk from 1974 to 1986. Replacing the larger F-4 Phantom II, the compact, highly maneuverable A-4 allowed the team to return to tighter formations and more nimble aerobatics. The Blue Angels modified their A-4Fs with smoke systems and removed equipment to reduce weight and improve aerodynamics. The Scooter’s small size, reliability, and spirited performance made it a favorite among pilots and fans alike. The Skyhawk was replaced by the F/A-18 Hornet in 1986.

Air Drops are made in Sheets (batches) of 100 at a time. Each Sheet of Air Drops includes various different editions that are randomly fulfilled. In addition to the standard Air Drop, which are the most numerous, the following limited editions may be included: A = Artist Autographs, H = Holographic, D = Data Plates, MC = Multicolor. Listed below are all the Air Drops included in this release along with the letters indicating which limited editions are included. Again, these are randomly fulfilled. Embedded in each Air Drop is an NFC tag that contains additional information about your Air Drop.
We called on all our regular artists to bring this jet back to life and are pleased to offer AD709 in 3 different Sheets (cards). All Sheets are comprised of primarily Blue Air Drops pieces with Yellow and Blue/Yellow (multicolor) mixed in.

Sheet 2 (A, H, MC): Ryan Roadkill card
Sheet 3 (A, H, MC): BVR card
