Description

We are back into Series 7 of Air Drops with a batch of absolute legendary aircraft. All AD702-AD706 Air Drops will ship in our fully SLA 3D resin printed "Slider" cards, and come with a hang card that can be removed and re-installed. All Slider Air Drops feature a slot in the bottom of the card that allows for a stand (purchased separately) to be installed. Embedded in all Slider Air Drops cards is an NFC tag that contains additional information about your Air Drop and the aircraft it was cut from.

Air Drops are made in Sheets (batches) of 100 at a time. Each Sheet of Air Drops includes various different editions that are randomly fulfilled. In addition to the standard Air Drop, which are the most numerous, the following limited editions may be included: A = Artist Autographs, H = Holographic, D = Data Plates, MC = Multicolor. Listed below are all the Air Drops included in this release along with the letters indicating which limited editions are included. Again, these are randomly fulfilled.

AD702 Sheet 1 – HH-43B Huskie S/N 62-4533 (A, H, D, MC). Card art by James Martin. Cut from a vertical stabilizer removed from 62-4533: an HH-43B that was upgraded to an F model. 4533 is a Vietnam combat veteran that saved numerous lives. AD702 Air Drops are mostly silver composite. Some feature multiple colors. The product photo depicts the standard AD702 Air Drop.

AD703 Sheet 1 – AD-6 Skyraider BuNo 134575. USN Foo Foo Juice (A, H, D, MC). Card art by Ryan Roadkill.

AD703 Sheet 2 – AD-6 Skyraider BuNo 134575. VNAF card (A, H, D, MC). Card art by Ryan Roadkill.

Our AD-6 Skyraider Air Drops are cut from a wing removed from BuNo 134575. This aircraft served with the U.S. Navy, Air Force, and lastly with the Vietnamese Air Force during the Vietnam War. It wore the nose art "Foo Foo Juice" while serving with the U.S Navy. Standard Sheet 1 (USN) Air Drops are grey or black in color. Standard Sheet 2 (VNAF) Air Drops are tan or green. The product photo depicts the standard AD703 Air Drops.

AD704 Sheet 1 – Spitfire MK.TIX S/N PV202 (A, H, MC). Card art by Ryan Roadkill. Cut from elevator fabric removed from PV202. PV202 was constructed as a MK.IX Spitfire and post-war converted to a 2-seat MKTIX (Mk.T9). It has been fully restored and still flies to this day. This aircraft was featured on Top Gear. AD704 Air Drops are green or grey fabric. Some are multiple colors. The product photo depicts the standard AD704 Air Drop.

AD705 Sheet 1 – TSR-2 S/N XR219. (A, H). Card art by Ryan Roadkill.

AD705 Sheet 2 - TSR-2 S/N XR220. (A, H, D). Card art by James Martin.

Our TSR-2 Air Drops have been cut from a brake chute that, per the data plate/tag on the chute, was allocated to XR220, but was also used during the TSR-2 trails of XR219 - the only TSR-2 that flew. This brake chute was acquired directly from the RAF Museum. To commemorate both XR219 and XR220, we commissioned 2 separate cards. Sheet 1 is the XR219 card. Sheet 2 is the XR220 card. AD705 Air Drops are fabric and may feature portions of the stitching/seam or parachute lines.

AD706 – Mystery Air Drop (you may see this as a JET in the future) (A, H, MC).

SE701 – Mystery Special/SOLO Edition. (A).

Stacks & Combos:
