Air Drops AD516: EP-X + AD601: NC-130B Hercules

Our latest Air Drops release is all about keeping an eye on things with both being cut from rare aircraft equipment designed to monitor and observe. 

AD516 has been cut from the a Project Highboy EP-X (U-2R) pod component (NRX-11). AD516 is offered in Green and Stamp. Stamp feature Skunk Works inspection stamps and markings that were found on the NRX-11. A single Data Plate Air Drop will be tossed in the mix and fulfilled amongst release day orders. 

AD601 is one of my favorite Air Drops we’ve released and was cut from the housing and components from a Zeiss RMK A 15/23 aerial camera that was used on NASA 707 - an NC-130B Hercules used in NASA's Earth Resources Program. It is offered in Circuit Board (gold cards) and Random. While most of the Random Air Drops are cut from the grey housing, we’re also including a slew of unique Drops cut from various components we harvested from the internal bits of the camera. 

The Ames Stack: 

We announced earlier this month that we’re calling next month NASA November. All month we are releasing NASA JETs and Air Drops. Some are rebooted versions of earlier pre-JETs releases (SOFIA, etc.), and some are all-new releases. These aircraft all have one thing in common: they were operated at or associated with NASA Ames. 

The Ames Stack is an option to pre-buy five NASA Ames Air Drops with one of them being AD601: The NC-130B. The other four will consist of NASA Aircraft operated at Ames and will ship at the end of November. Some are Series 6 Air Drops and some are SOLOs. A bonus Air Drop will be included with all Ames Stack purchases.
