Air Drops AD513 + SE506: A-4C Skyhawk

In December of 2023, a good friend and talented cockpit restorer dropped off a forward fuselage/cockpit of an A-4C that he had intended to restore. The airframe had suffered significant damage during the scrapping process years earlier and was just a little too bent to be a candidate for restoration.

This cockpit belonged to BuNo 148590 and served with VA-12 while deployed aboard USS Shangri-La in 1970 to Vietnam. This aircraft is a true combat veteran and served with one of the most iconic USN squadrons of the era.

Air Drops AD513 and SE506 were cut from fuselage skin removed from the port side of the cockpit of 148590. The starboard side we are keeping intact, and it will be proudly displayed in our new space.

All Air Drops beginning with the Heavy Stack feature an embedded NFC tag. You can use your smartphone/device to scan your Air Drop, which will open an expanded "White Paper" that features additional pictures and info about your Air Drop. 

AD513 - AD513 ships in a blue card by BVR. Many of these are solid white (intake skin), but every finish and color represented in our JETs release is present. A few have been cut from data plates located on the cockpit. These come with a special Data Plate card. 

SE506 - A special edition Air Drop that comes in a red VA-12 card. These are printed on our shiny Data Plate cards and most will feature darker or colored Air Drops. Only 50 have been made. 

A combo that includes both is also available. 

Material finish/color is totally random. There are no returns on Air Drops.
