Air Drops AD509: Apache AH Mk 1 + The Apache Stack

Our Apache Air Drops were cut from Apache AH MK 1s, which puts them in a class all their own – unlike the US made aircraft, which over 2,700 have been delivered, only 67 AH1s were built by AgustaWestland for the British Army Air Corps. These aircraft were heavily used in Afghanistan.  

AD509 is comprised of Air Drops cut from fuselage access panels removed from 3 different AH1s: ZJ172, ZJ183, and ZJ220. Airframe fulfillment is random - you may get ZJ172, ZJ183, or ZJ220. 

We utilized the entire panels removed from ZJ183 and ZJ220 for JETs but managed to cut a few (<10) Air Drops after cutting the JETs from these panels. The ZJ172 panel was split, and half went to JETs and the other half to Air Drops.

The Apache Stack

We also received some non-skid fuselage panels (no airframe ID) in this lot of parts, and I’ve been itching to depart from the standard Air Drops card design for a special edition. Two special edition Air Drops (SE502 and SE503) will be up for grabs and are only included in the Apache Stack. This stack will be comprised of three Air Drops: AD509, one special edition Apache (fulfilled randomly), and a random selection of any of our current Air Drops. We have worked through the entire backlog and are pleased to report that ALL Air Drops are now updated to the current “3D” spec, and we will update the website pics in the coming weeks.

There are no returns on Air Drops.
