Description

Tag Force and Tag Prix are projects we began cooking up over 2 years ago to apply what we’ve learned with aircraft to military surplus and vehicles (Tag Force) and non-military vehicles (Tag Prix). These share some elements in common with our JETs (hanging system, etc.), but they have an identity all their own. The card shape is inspired by license plates, and the tag shape was designed with function in mind.

Tag Prix Series 1 consists of:

1982 DeLorean DMC-12: Cut from stainless steel gull-wing doors. The DMC DeLorean is a 2-door coupe and was produced by the DeLorean Motor Company (DMC) from 1981-1982. The vehicle features a rear mounted engine, gull-wing doors, and stainless steel body panels. The DMC DeLorean was also famously used in the Back to the Future movie series. Over 8,000 were built with many still on the road today.

American Magic AC75 Defiant America’s Cup racing yacht. The American Magic AC75 Defiant was the first foiling monohull built by the American Magic team for the 36th America's Cup, representing a rapid evolution in design, reliability, and performance. Launched in late 2019, Defiant featured refined foils, improved control systems, and a robust structure aimed at maximizing speed while enhancing survivability in demanding conditions. The yacht competed in the Prada Cup challenger selection series in Auckland in early 2021, where it demonstrated clear gains in straight-line pace and maneuverability, signaling American Magic’s growing mastery of the radical AC75 class. Although the team was ultimately eliminated before reaching the America’s Cup Match, Defiant proved to be a competitive and credible platform against the world’s best sailing teams. Its development marked a significant step forward for American Magic, laying a stronger technical and organizational foundation for future America’s Cup campaigns and reaffirming the United States’ renewed commitment to top-tier foiling yacht innovation. These tags are carbon fiber. Some have aluminum honeycomb on the back.

1968 Ford F100. Cut from body panels. The very first vehicle we purchased over 2 years ago for Tag Prix, and the very first art produced by Ryan Quickfall for us. The Ford F-100 pickup truck was a cornerstone of Ford’s F-Series line, introduced in 1953 as the first model to carry the now-famous F-100 designation and marking a shift toward more driver-focused, comfortable work trucks. Replacing the earlier F-1, the F-100 featured a redesigned chassis, improved suspension, and a wider cab that made it more practical for everyday use while retaining its rugged utility. Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, the F-100 evolved with more powerful V8 engines, modern styling, and safety upgrades, helping it appeal to both farmers and suburban buyers during America’s postwar economic boom. By the late 1960s and 1970s, the F-100 had become synonymous with durability and versatility, cementing the F-Series’ rise as one of the best-selling vehicle lines in history. Although the F-100 name was eventually phased out in the early 1980s in favor of new model designations, its legacy endures as a classic American pickup that helped define the modern truck market. VIN info included.
