JETs Vol. 26-28 is a boneyard fresh release. Derived from the B-57E, the EB-57Es were equipped with sophisticated radar-jamming and electronic countermeasures equipment and simulated enemy attacks to evaluate American air defense systems and train interceptor crews. During exercises, EB-57Es challenged interceptors such as the F-102 Delta Dagger and F-106 Delta Dart, employing radar jamming and other tech evade detection and interception.

Vol. 26-28 has been cut from the canopy of EB-57E 55-4300. The aircraft's serial number was stenciled on the canopy in multiple locations. Interestingly, the canopy started life on a B-57B and many of the tags feature remnants of this original camo paint in addition to the grey.

Canopies are among the trickiest pieces we work with, but they produce some of our most unusual tags. This release has it all: full-color printed canopy glass tags, the return of a popular canopy frame variant featuring original grey-painted aluminum and full-thickness, three-layer canopy glass, multiple card designs, stickers, and more. We've also cut a few of the most exciting canopy rail cross sections ever. And to pay homage to the canopy's B-57B roots, we've created a special B-57B canopy glass variant that will be available through the weekend.

Variants: Grey (metal), Grey Riveted (metal), Structured (metal - heavy structure), Stencil (cut from the 4300 stencil on the canopy), Canopy Frame (extremely thick metal tags with full thickness canopy glass in the middle), EB-57E Canopy Glass (acrylic canopy glass featuring full color printed EB-57E art), B-57B Canopy Glass (acrylic canopy glass featuring full color printed B-57B art), and:

Cross Section. Cross Sections are full width cut canopy rails that feature the outside skin, canopy glass, and interior cockpit skin/elements. These are large items measuring approximately 8" deep. They are multiple pieces and can be separated or displayed together. They vary in width from 2" to 3-4".
