JETs Vol. 25-31: F-117A Nighthawk

Limit of 1 Sawtooth and 1 Orange per customer.

The Black Jet, the Asset, Shabah. Whatever you call it, the F-117 is an icon; and an aircraft that started a revolution. There is none like it.

We are honored to release JETs cut from the mid-section/weapons bay of 80-0785; the very first production F-117 built following the 5 YF-117s known as Scorpion 1-5.

785 (alt. 79-0785) has a unique history as it was involved in a mishap on its maiden flight at Groom Lake on 20 April 1982. A post-mishap investigation discovered faulty flight control wiring. The aircraft was written off but portions of it were used to create the "785" static display F-117 that stands outside Skunk Works in Palmdale, CA.

Prior to being scrapped, the mid-section/weapons bay of 785 was used as a training aide and a test fixture. We acquired the fuselage in 2024 from a scrap/boneyard. It has been torched nearly in half and completely stripped of all coatings.

Variants:

8 total variants are offered: Raw Aluminum (fuselage skin), White Aluminum (fuselage skin), Green Aluminum (fuselage skin), Titanium (fuselage skin), Titanium Rivets (fuselage skin), White Titanium (weapons bay skin), Sawtooth (fuselage skin), and Orange (part no. 20F65-71 - found in the weapons bay).

The Raw Aluminum, White Aluminum, Green Aluminum, Titanium, Titanium Rivets, and White Titanium come on a "day" card featuring the F-117 in the Nevada desert. 

The Green Aluminum come on an "NVG" or mission card featuring the jet at night. 

The Orange come on a special edition orange card. 

The Sawtooth feature paint/adhesive residue in a sawtooth pattern and are paired with a card that matches the finish on the tag - green/black sawtooth tags come on the green card. Raw/black sawtooth tags come on the day card. Sawtooth fulfillment is random. 

Combos/Sets:

A full set is available that includes all variants plus all F-117A AD514/SE507 Air Drops. 

A Green/White Titanium combo comes with a Green JET and a White Titanium JET. 

TRAPs:

TRAPs are small unserialized key chains or bag tags. 

TRAPs are available on this listing as a standalone item in very limited quantities. All colors (with the exception of raw aluminum) and cards are represented and fulfillment for the free and purchased TRAPs is totally random.
