JETs Vol. 25-29: Apache AH Mk 1
Our Apache JETs were cut from Apache AH MK 1s, which puts them in a class all their own – unlike the US made aircraft, which over 2,700 have been delivered, only 67 AH1s were built by AgustaWestland for the British Army Air Corps. These aircraft were heavily used in Afghanistan.
JETs Vol. 25-29 is comprised of JETs cut from fuselage access panels removed from 3 different AH1s: ZJ172, ZJ183, and ZJ220.
Each are offered in 3 variants: Green (single layer aluminum), Stencil, and Riveted (ZJ172 Riveted, ZJ183 Green, etc). The total run size is only 160 JETs, with most of the run coming from ZJ183 and ZJ220. BVR provided the art for ZJ183 and ZJ172 and Ryan Quickfall for ZJ220.
An Apache Set can be purchased that includes a Green JET from each airframe + an AD509 Air Drop (not pictured). The Air Drops are randomly fulfilled and could be cut from any of the 3 airframes.
PLEASE NOTE: Photos represent examples of each variant. Paint colors, rivet holes, and other features are different for every tag.
