The Viggie is one of our favorite aircraft. This era of aviation design is so inspiring, and some of the coolest aircraft to ever fly emerged from this time period. 

We recently acquired additional material from the same RA-5C Vigilante we used for our first run, and we also learned the ID of this jet – BuNo 156641. This news and additional material prompted me to discontinue the prior tag (which was nearly sold out), and begin work on a new edition that comes with the BuNo on the tag, is offered in new variants, and on new cards.

JETs Vol. 25-23 boasts 13 variants cut from fuselage/engine bay doors that were removed from 156641. The variants: Silver, White, Grey, NWC, NAVY, Gold, Gold Rivets, White Gold, Silver Titanium, RVAH-7 STAB, RVAH-12 STAB, Ejection Seat Grey, and Ejection Seat Decal.

The Silver, Silver Titanium, Gold, and Gold Rivets were all cut from interior skin. The others were cut from exterior skin. 

The Gold, Gold Rivets, and White Gold are titanium. The gold coloring is the result of gold being applied to the titanium for thermal applications. All other exterior JETs are aluminum. 

The Ejection Seat JETs are not associated with any airframe ID/BuNo, but are cut from the North American Aviation HS-1A ejection seat, which was used exclusively in the RA-5C. Like our STABS, these are a special edition and come on a card with red highlights, a red Bone (hook), and an ejection seat danger triangle logo. 

This release features card art by James Martin and Ryan Quickfall. The Silver Titanium and RVAH-7 STAB come on a card by Ryan Quickfall featuring 156641 in RVAH-7 colors. The rest of the JETs ship on a card by James Martin that depicts the jet in RVAH-12 colors.
