JETs Vol. 25-20: RF-35XD Draken

If you follow us on social media, you may have seen that we recently took delivery of an RF-35XD Draken (C/N 35-1111) that has found a nice home outside of our shop. Our HQ is part workshop and part airplane rescue/sanctuary, and the Draken will stand guard keeping an eye on things – saved from the scrap yard. This jet served with a US-based adversary company before it was retired.

We’ve had a few boneyard-sourced 35 Draken panels kicking around here for years that we considered tagging but never worked them into the schedule. With the addition of our Draken out front, now is the time to lean into what I consider to be one of the coolest planes ever built. We removed a few complete fuselage panels from our jet and replaced them with the spares we had, which is where the material for ½ of tomorrow’s release (JETs Vol. 25-20) comes from.

JETs Vol. 25-20 will be offered in a single variant: Green, and is limited to 200 JETs. A special edition 1v1 is also available that features an F/A-18C tag cut from BuNo 163777. For more info on the F/A-18, please visit its listing. 

A large portion of the 200 will be sent to former operators of the aircraft. This JET will only be available for a week. Whatever’s left will be sold in person at our shop later this year and will come with a different card.
