JETs Vol. 25-18: B-2A Spirit - Flight 1

The B-2A is a special airplane that we have been so excited to share with you. 

This material was originally acquired from a scrap/boneyard and has been on our property since early 2024.  It’s been tough keeping the lid on this one.

This release will be structured differently: given the depth of our artists’ talent and the awesomeness that is the B-2, the entire 1,000 JET run will be broken into different “Flights” that each have their own unique characteristics. Each Flight will feature its own card art, JET art, and for follow-on Flights, some B-2 material that is only available for that Flight.  That’s right - the JETs release tomorrow features only a portion of the material for the 1,000 JET run, and the choice is yours:  buy this one, wait for a later run, or collect them all.

Availability: Flight 1 will be for sale for two weeks or until it sells out. Later Flights will be released randomly over the next few months.

Flight 1: Material for this first Flight was cut from the Aft Deck. The Aft Deck is a 3/16” thick titanium shield/liner located just aft of the engine exhaust. Early designs faced major issues and were eventually replaced with a newly designed part. Our Aft Deck is a first generation flown part that would have been removed from Air Vehicle 1-13. The exact ship is unknown.

Flight 1 Variants: Solid and Fastener. The Solid JETs are just that – a heavy-duty piece of titanium with no holes in it. We used different settings for each variant and the Solid JETs feature a dark blue etch. The fastener JETs feature fastener holes and a lighter etch.

A Spirit Combo is available that comes with both a Solid and a Fastener JET plus the titanium card. 

Card Art: BVR nailed it with this original work. Also included with all Flight 1 JETs is a colored version of the original card design that was teased on the inside of our shipping boxes.

A titanium card may be purchased separately on the listing. The titanium card features the original monochromatic art by BVR. TITANIUM CARDS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE WITH THE PURCHASE OF A JET. FLIGHT 1 IS THE ONLY FLIGHT THAT WILL FEATURE A TITANIUM CARD. Because we are numbering our cards again, if you purchase a titanium card, we will intentionally leave the serial number box blank so you can fill it in after all Flights have been released… just in case you elect to display a future B-2 Flight release with your card.

Housekeeping: Multiple export consultants, attorneys, and engineers were engaged as part of this release.

The parts utilized for this release were originally purchased from a scrap/boneyard who purchased them as part of a scrap contract directly from the government. All parts had been demilled or cut/mutilated in some way to render them non-functioning. We further engaged program engineers to confirm not only the items’ identities but also to ensure proper disposal.

Shipping: B-2 JETs are available for shipping to US addresses only. We understand this decision is disappointing to our valued international customers, and we went back and forth for some time regarding whether to release it at all.  We ultimately decided the material was too cool not to be shared.
