Description
We’ve been holding onto something special to commemorate VE Day 2025 – Me 262! The material for this week’s releases (JETs and Air Drops) represents the only Me 262 we've ever come across for sale.
JETs Vol. 25-15 have been cut from an outer flap removed from an Me 262 Schwalbe. We don’t know the airframe ID, but the flap was marked as “722” in several places, and we are told that corresponds to the Luftwaffe tail/werk-num. There were 3 Me 262 Werk-numbers all ending in 722 that could correspond to the aircraft this was removed from, and all were the fighter variant of the jet. This flap was mostly devoid of paint and had shrapnel/projectile entry/exit holes in it.
Vol. 25-15 is offered in 6 variants and only 144 JETs total: Silver Printed, Silver Laser Etched, Rivets, Patina, Structured, and 1v1.
The Silver Laser Etched and Printed may feature a rivet hole, but most are solid.
The Patina all have some element of what appears to be original paint and/or patina due to age. Some are a light green/cream color, and others have brown sections of patina.
The Rivets feature rivets holes and the Structured feature complete rivets with additional structure on the back.
Like our STABs, the 1v1 will become a new special edition JET. These jets come on a double card that depicts a dogfight between an Me 262 and a P-51D. The 1v1 come with an additional laser-etched JET cut from P-51D wing skin. The Me 262 JET included with the 1v1 is printed. The P-51D JET was cut from wing panels and will never be sold as a standalone tag. ALL 1v1 JETs will come on a holographic card.
Non 1v1 JETs with the serial numbers 1 and 25 will ship with a holographic card. All others will ship on our standard 24pt card.
Material from this aircraft is also available as an Air Drop. Visit the VE Day Stack page to learn more.
