Coast Guard releases are some of the most radical we do here. Not only are the JETs (and cards) next-level interesting and colorful, but the aircraft see real-world lifesaving missions on a regular basis and do it in some of the most treacherous conditions imaginable for flying. Truth be told, when applying to flight school, my first call was to a USCG recruiter.
 
Coast Guard releases are also extremely popular – our USCG HC-130 tag has been our best-selling release by a long shot, and we expect this one to be a banger as well. We’ll have another all-new USCG HC-130 coming out later this year.
 
JETs Vol. 25-07 have been cut from United States Coast Guard MH-65 Dolphin CGNR 6576 (ser. no. 6272). 76 began its life as an HH-65A and was upgraded to a Charlie before its retirement. This fuselage and tail boom were acquired directly from the USCG in December of 2024.
 
Delivered in 1985, the HH-65 Dolphin was developed from the AS365 Dauphin. The 65 is known for its incredibly capable automatic flight control system and its ducted fan Fenestron tail rotor. The aircraft is also lightweight, weighing in at <10,000 MTOW.
 
The primary mission of the Dolphin is MEDEVAC / SAR (Search and Rescue); however the USCG also uses this multi-role aircraft for law-enforcement, security patrols, drug interdiction, cargo transport, etc.
 
Vol. 25-07 is offered in a whopping 14 variants (listed below). Some are cut from the Tail Boom and some are cut from the main Fuselage. 
 
Fuselage Variants: Orange (exterior skin), Yellow (cut from inner shelves), Grey (interior structure), Titanium (exterior skin near engine) , Orange/White (exterior skin), Stencil (exterior skin), Decal (exterior skin), and Black (exterior skin - painted over USCG Stencil).
 
The Yellow, Grey, Titanium, and Orange/White are all solid tags. The others are a combination of solid aluminum and/or honeycomb. A few Red/Black/Orange Stencils will be randomly fulfilled amongst orders of Stencil JETs.
 
Tail Boom Variants: Orange, White, Blue, Orange/White, Orange/Blue, and Emblem. These are all exterior skin and all are made of an aluminum skin with a composite honeycomb back. 
 
A few Red/White/Blue Emblem tags will be randomly fulfilled amongst orders of Emblem JETs.
