We have been looking for the right piece of Harrier to tag since day one, and several months ago we acquired a tail section off a T10. There were only 13 Harrier T10 made, and unlike the USMC TAV-8, they are fully combat capable.

The Harrier II:

Renowned for its vertical and short takeoff and landing capabilities, the Harrier II is a subsonic, single-engine ground-attack aircraft developed collaboratively by Hawker Siddeley and McDonnell Douglas.

Designed for versatility, the Harrier II excels in light attack and multi-role missions, including close air support and armed reconnaissance.

Powered by the Pegasus Mk 105 vectored thrust turbofan engine, the Harrier II has played a crucial role in numerous military and humanitarian operations, notably serving as a key asset during the Gulf War.

In 1995, the T10 trainer variant was introduced and featured a two-seat configuration, lengthened forward fuselage, enlarged vertical stabilizer, and was fully Combat-capable.

The Tags:

Our tags were cut from the tail section of Harrier T10 ZH655. ZH655 was involved in a landing mishap and the aircraft written-off. The tail section of the Harrier is comprised of aluminum and hi-temp alloys and titanium. Early-on, T10s featured a two-tone green livery.

Our tags are offered in 9 variants: Interior Green, White, Green Aluminum, Green High-Temp, Bi-Color, Bi-Color Riveted, Stencil, Registration, and Multi-Material.

The Green High-Temp, Bi-Color, Bi-Color Riveted, and Registration are all cut from high-temp alloys and feature an awesome gold/blue/purple etch. These tags are reminiscent of our RA-5 High-temp or F-100 titanium tags. The Registration tags were cut from the ZH655 stenciling. All tags cut from hi-temp material are quite heavy when compared to the aluminum tags. All Bi-Colors feature light and dark green paint.

The Green Aluminum, Interior Green, and White tags are all aluminum. The Green Aluminum were cut from exterior skin while the White and Inner Green tags were cut from interior structure.

The Stencil tags were cut from various stencils on the aircraft. They are either aluminum or high-temp metal. Fulfillment is random.

The Multi-Material tags are thick, structured tags that are the kind of tag we’re known for. They were cut from the area where the aluminum portion of the tail was fastened to the high-temp part. They feature multiple layers of material, and all have aluminum and hi-temp metal riveted together. Many of these have 5+ rivets.

Also available are 2 sets:

Jump Set: Green Aluminum tag + Registration tag + Multi-Material tag

Greens: Inner Green tag + Green Aluminum Tag + Green High-Temp Tag

Shipping: Harrier tags will begin shipping at the end of next week.

All tags come on an in-house made card with art by BVR.
