Our first Air Drop! These drops were cut from F-4D 65-0671 and come in 3 different variations:
RESCUE - Drops with yellow on them from the RESCUE arrow on the side of the cockpit. These come with a card with a yellow border.
Fuselage - Drops that are green, olive, or dark green. These come on a card with a green border.
Slime Light - Drops cut from the formation light on the side of the cockpit. These come on a card with a white border.
Fulfillment is random. There are no returns on Air Drops.
The text on the back of the card reads:
"The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II is a 2-seat fighter/interceptor developed in the late 1950s. It is capable of speeds over Mach 2.2 and can carry more than 18,000 pounds of weapons. The F-4 saw significant combat during the Vietnam War as an air superiority fighter and flew ground attack missions. The F-4D was a USAF variant. F-4D 65-0671 entered service with the USAF in 1965 with the 4485th Test Squadron and was retired in 1988. A total of 5,195 Phantoms were built."
